Wilson 811200 Direct-Connect In-Line Amplifier w/ AC Power Supply
is a dual band (850/1900 Mhz) Direct-Connect amplifier. Also known as
Pre-Amps
, Wilson 811200 amplifies incoming signal to the signal booster.
Direct Connection amplifiers
require that your cell phone or data card be directly wired to the amplifier, via a phone specific adapter
(not included),
providing maximum signal performance in low-signal areas, particularly rural and remote locations.  It can be used as a pre-amplifier (pre-amp) in-line booster in complete stand-alone systems to add +20dB gain to the existing system. As a pre-amp it will be installed just before the main amplifier (between the outdoor antenna and the amplifier unit).
Direct connect amplifiers can be used both in fixed and mobile applications - including buildings, cars, boats, trucks, RV's etc. and need to be connected to an external antenna (included).  In addition to phones and data cards, this type of amplifier makes it the ideal choice for M2M applications, such as lottery machines and wireless ATMs, where the amplifier can be directly hooked up to a modem.  Includes A/C power adapter, FME Female Coaxial Cable, and antenna.
